Hi! I’m Heather, photographer & owner of Velvet Fields Photography and a Quad Cities native for the last 24 years. I specialize in senior photography, couples sessions, and wedding photography across the QCA, including Bettendorf, Davenport, Moline, Rock Island and surrounding areas.

Photography started as a creative outlet for me, but somewhere along the way, it became something much bigger. I fell in love with capturing the in-between moments: the real smiles, the nervous laughter before a pose, the way parents look at their kids when they think nobody notices.

Those are the moments that we all love and want to remember, not the ones of everyone forcing a smile for the camera!

My sessions are relaxed, laid back, and designed to feel more like an afternoon spent with a new friend. No uncomfortable poses. No awkward “what do I do with my hands?” panic. Just a little fun guidance and lots of laughs and smiles!
